A new opportunity has become available for a care team leader to join Xealthcare’s well respected clients residential care home on a permanent, full-time contract. The care home is located within a commutable area in Market Harborough, Leicestershire.
Our care provider is an excellent 50 bed residential and dementia care home for elderly residents, with an overall ‘GOOD’ rating by CQC.
Healthcare Team Leader
As a care Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading and supervising a team of healthcare assistants to ensure the provision of high-quality care and assistance to our clients' residents. In addition to the responsibilities of a care assistant and senior care assistant, you will oversee the daily operations of the care team, coordinate care plans, and act as a point of contact for the residents and their families. This is an excellent opportunity to demonstrate your leadership skills and make a positive impact on the well-being of our clients' residents.
This role would also be ideal for an experienced and motivated senior care assistant who is eager to take the step into a care team leader position.
Assisting residents with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting.
* Monitoring and recording residents' vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff.
* Collaborating effectively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic care.
Minimum of NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care required, candidates who are working towards this are also encouraged to apply.
* Prior experience in a care setting or similar role is preferred.
* Compassionate and empathetic nature with a genuine interest in the well-being of elderly individuals.
* Competitive hourly rate of £14.67 per hour plus incentives.
