Do you have experience of working within a Generalist HR Advisory role? If so, Moxie People is proud to be supporting a leading Housing Association in the Southwest, as they look to hire a People Advisor. This is a great opportunity to join the People team, on a FTC until March 2025 (initially).

Role: People Advisor

Salary: c. £28,500 per annum

Location: Hybrid (predominantly remote) – must be able to reach offices within the Southwest region when necessary

Duration: Fixed term until March 2025 (initially)

Reporting into the HR Business Partner, the People Advisor is responsible for providing a proactive and effective HR advisory service to colleagues across the organisation. Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Offering proactive HR advisory services to colleagues and leaders, ensuring awareness of relevant policies and processes.
  2. Be the first point of contact for routine ER related enquiries; responding to requests and allocating cases as appropriate
  3. Developing and managing strong relationships with all levels of the organisation, promptly addressing queries and managing expectations.
  4. Providing support and coaching to leaders on employee relations issues and case management, including attending meetings and managing correspondence.
  5. Assisting in HR projects and supporting People Hub operations as needed.

What you'll need:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or be working towards) or equivalent qualification
  • Previous experience working within a HR generalist position within a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of GDPR and employment legislation, and how this translates into practice
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and effectively communicate across all levels of the business
  • Previous experience of Housing related sector (desirable)
  • Experience with HR Information Systems (i.e., iTrent or Dynamics HR), SharePoint and Service Now (desirable)
