The Linux Systems Engineer will support Front Office Trading, Exchange Connectivity, Low-Latency connectivity, and trade monitoring systems used across the business.

The Linux Systems Engineer can expect to:

• Work with a dynamic technology stack including
• Build and maintain Linux server environments
• Support high-frequency trading systems
• Configure, deploy and upgrade Linux Servers
• Work directly with High Frequency Traders
• Be involved in configuration, testing, installation and trade monitor tools
• Write automation scripts to automate administration tasks

In return the Linux Systems Engineer should have:

• Excellent Unix - Linux support and engineering experience
• Experience of an enterprise Linux, preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS or Oracle Linux.
• Recent involvement in implementing IDAM, PAM or SIEM tooling.
• Experience with monitoring and reporting software - Prometheus, Nagios or similar.
• Solid scripting experience with one of the following: Python, Shell, Bash or Ruby
• Familiarity with networking protocols and technologies - TCP/IP, DNS, LAN/WAN
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A keen interest in financial markets - Electronic Trading
