FPSG have exciting opportunities for high performing Java Full Stack Engineers to join an expanding Finance House in their Glasgow hub. They take the best of enterprise FS and blend it with individuality and creativity on cutting edge technology, where the right people can directly contribute to innovative products & services.
As a Full Stack Engineer you will work with a range of high end solutions, focused on continuous innovation & development. You will require a blend of core Java, SQL, Mongo, TypeScript, React, Python, Messaging / Middleware tools and an Agile approach.
Collaborative agile development on a range of Greenfield & Brownfield projects.
A blend of front-end, and full stack focus to match your key skills.
Developing solutions in both SQL / NoSQL environment
Knowledge of TypeScript, Python
Appreciation and understanding of DevOps, Docker etc and Unit Testing such as JUnit
As one of the early members of the new Integration Tech team, you will be given the opportunity to develop and support all levels of the technology stack, including frontend, middleware, servers and databases. This could potentially involve cross training in different languages and utilities, all of which is encouraged and supported.
Offices are based in Glasgow City Centre and to ensure collaborative agile approaches 2 or 3 days a week in the office will be desired.
This client although new to Glasgow have a reputation of offering candidates a diverse range of project opportunities, where complexity and collaboration will ensure continual personal and technical development.
In return, the successful Java Integration Engineer will receive a salary and package commensurate with experience and in the upper quartile for the market. (Based on experience and level of expertise salaries can range from £55k through to £75k) + Bonus options, training and exposure to new tech will ensure career development.
