Job Purpose:

We are currently looking for a Manager of Energy Procurement to deliver a comprehensive and robust procurement service for utilities to clients. Manage and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders. Contribute to the retention and growth of our clients and services through the delivery of excellent customer experiences.

  • Responsibilities:
    • To manage team service delivery against internal and external KPIs.
    • To report team-wide risks to the senior management team and propose solutions for sign-off and implementation deadlines.
    • Manage all complaints raised within SLA and in-line with the agreed process, reporting on opportunities for improvements to the Senior Management Team.
    • Establish and manage supplier relationships.
    • Implement team goals and objectives.
    • Assess and report on performance and risk.
    • Undertake audits against quality, system completeness, and process compliance.
    • Supervise, train or guide team members;
  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
    • Proven successful experience in new and existing client relationships, complex services, and excellent interpersonal skills to liaise with senior-level contacts.
    • A hands-on problem solver unflustered by the multiple changing priorities or responsibilities; therefore, the ability to multitask and prioritization skills are essential.
    • Client-oriented with a strong focus on quality and professionalism.
    • Open-minded team player who provides creative, efficient, and pragmatic solutions for given issues.

    Education and Experience:

    • Experience of people management, working with your team to meet the objectives of the business and clients whilst supporting and developing your team members.
    • At least 1 year recent experience working within the energy industry
    • Leadership will be important in this role, including that of providing people management skills.
    • Proficient experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM would be an advantage.
