The Consumer Strategist is responsible for putting consumers at the heart of the business by understanding behaviours, attitudes, and needs, then identifying the problems to be solved through in‐depth knowledge of the target audience and the job to be done. This results in developing and executing experiences that are impactful, relevant, intuitive, and improve lives. Partnering closely with brands and cross‐functional teams to embed the consumer mindset and drive capability across the organisation, the successful candidate will build expertise and influence as they execute. The remit of this role spans the Northern European Hub, including the UK and Nordic markets. Key Responsibilities Build understanding of the consumer within cardio‐metabolic health (Obesity & T2D) through segmentation, personas, detailed consumer journeys, and ecosystem mapping. Develop the long‐term strategy for consumer engagement plans in the obesity area over the next five years. Own the planning, execution, and optimisation of consumer campaigns across the most relevant channels by: Partnering with media agencies on campaign planning. Collaborating with creative agencies to localise global content and build impactful local content. Ensuring all content is compliant by working closely with legal and regulatory teams. Leading measurement, monitoring, and optimisation of campaigns in partnership with BI&A to ensure continuous improvement. Work with internal cross‐functional teams (Marketing, Market Research, Digital, Sales, Medical Affairs, Legal) and external partners (Agencies, Vendors) to drive clarity, communication, and alignment on consumer campaigns. Build consumer capability within the team by demonstrating processes, tools, and techniques that put the consumer first. Monitor the external environment and adjust strategies accordingly. Key responsibilities: Bachelor's degree Proven experience in consumer marketing in Neuro or Cardio Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams. In-depth knowledge of consumer data, insights & planning techniques and tools. High proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to derive actionable insights from marketing analytics.
