Jonathan Lee Recruitment is looking for a Shift Supervisor for a successful Tier 1 Automotive company, and the role comes with an attractive salary of over £48K and benefits package.The company is a fast moving supplier of car components utilising specialist process equipment, robot transfer and assembly equipment as well as CNC machiningSupervising £30 – 35 people on shift, as Shift Supervisor you will carryout the following.Supervising 30 - 35 people ensuring effect man management to ensure SOP’s and internal procedures are followed at all timesEnsure all production processes conform to current quality standardsManufacture quality parts in time to satisfy customer demandGuarantee a safe working environmentImprove production processes and lead improvement teamsLead root cause analysis of non-conforming production and implement corrective actionsTo fulfil the Shift Supervisor role your expertise and experience should include:Tier 1 Automotive highly advantageousGeneral manufacturing experience is requiredProduction Supervisor or Production Manager level experience essentialExperience working in automated factories with understanding of CNC machining and robot transfer cells is highly advantageousExperience in Lean Manufacturing and 5S is essentialHNC or general mechanical engineering understanding is desirableIn current or previous roles you may have worked as Shift Manager, Cell Leader, Production Manager, Production SupervisorAs a vital member of our team and in return for your expertise, inclusive approach and commitment, we'll provide a favourable salary and the chance to join a passionate and welcoming team.£48,600 working only 37.5 hours / Week33 Days Holiday and Competitive PersonIf this full-time Shift Supervisor job in Telford motivates and inspires you, please contact Jonathan Lee Recruitment today.
