The company is a fast moving supplier of car components utilising specialist process equipment, robot transfer and assembly equipment as well as CNC machining

Supervising £30 – 35 people on shift, as Shift Supervisor you will carryout the following.

  • Supervising 30 - 35 people ensuring effect man management to ensure SOP’s and internal procedures are followed at all times
  • Ensure all production processes conform to current quality standards
  • Manufacture quality parts in time to satisfy customer demand
  • Guarantee a safe working environment
  • Improve production processes and lead improvement teams
  • Lead root cause analysis of non-conforming production and implement corrective actions

To fulfil the Shift Supervisor role your expertise and experience should include:

  • Tier 1 Automotive highly advantageous
  • General manufacturing experience is required
  • Production Supervisor or Production  Manager level experience essential 
  • Experience working in automated factories with understanding of CNC machining and robot transfer cells is highly advantageous
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and 5S is essential
  • HNC or general mechanical engineering understanding is desirable

In current or previous roles you may have worked as Shift Manager, Cell Leader, Production Manager, Production Supervisor
