The School/role:

An amazing campus in Kings Heath are currently looking for a fulltime asd teaching assistant. The school is a community KS3 campus focussed on a variety of rich experiences that pupils may well have not had the opportunity to access in their mainstream settings; outdoor education, residential trips, theatre visits and much more. They aim to provide a secure environment where all the children's individual needs are recognised and catered for.

You would be working closely with pupils from Year 7 to Year 9. The campus also work closely with secondary schools supporting pupils in campus to return to mainstream provision when appropriate.

The school require someone committed to the asd teaching assistant role, as they need consistency for the pupils, in return the campus will offer all the support and additional training you may need.

Qualified Teaching Assistant OR Relevant SEN Background

* Level 1 safeguarding certificate

* Recent school based references
