**SEMH Teaching Assistant**

Location: Kings Heath

Duration: Full time, on going

**Salary**: £75 - £85 per day

**The School/role**:
I am working with a an amazing PRU (Pupil Referral Unit) based in Kings Heath that is seeking for passionate and resilient SEMH Teaching assistant to join their team. This fantastic Specialist Centre is for Students aged between 11-14 who are unable to attend their mainstream provision because of medical reasons. The school strives to provide the best quality teaching and learning with an inclusive and personalised curriculum. This is a full-time post and will run until the end of the academic year.

The team within the school are very supportive and will help you along the way. The staff in the school aim to give the best possible educational experience for their students. This job opportunity is very fulfilling for people who have teaching assistant experience.

A new enhanced DBS will be needed for this role or a subscription to the DBS update service.

**Requirements**:

- SEN related qualification
- PECS and Makaton training/experience
- SEMH, SEBD needs experience
- Valid Photo ID - Driving Licence or passport
- Full DBS - on the update service
