We have an exciting opportunity for a Leasehold Management Officerat Advance. Advance is a specialist supported housing association that is on an exciting journey to deliver more services and develop more housing for people with learning difficulties, disabilities and supporting people towards greater independent living.
Advance currently offers a unique shared ownership service directed at people with long term disabilities. The Leasehold Management Officer role is to undertake the following duties: - Maintain management agreements & leases, lead on lease queries, oversee the management of section 20 processes and lead on conveyancing matters as required.
You will also be responsible for the management of a Leasehold Assistant, and you will work closely with a team of Regional Housing Officers who manage our shared ownership properties. The role covers all our housing in England (South and Midlands). If you want to join a team and organisation that is progressive and forward thinking and you have a will to help support people become more independent while also developing, you career then this role is the one for you.
This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
Experience of Leasehold Management is essential as we are looking for the right candidate who has aptitude and is willing to develop their skills in social housing.
There will be some travel required but the majority of the role will be office based in our Witney or Leicester Offices.
