Reports to: Regional Facilities Leader - EMEA
Contract type: Permanent, full-time, on-site
As a Facilities & Workplace Services Manager, your role is to oversee all building-related activities at our office in Cheadle, UK. You’ll manage a 3,700 m² owned office building accommodating 60 employees, as well as leased space for approximately 100 tenant employees.
You’ll work independently, ensuring workplace productivity, safety, security, environmental sustainability, asset management, preventative maintenance, capital repairs, vendor relationships, and overseeing office moves, additions, and changes while enhancing employee engagement.
We will help you achieve your goals and develop by providing regular feedback and access to online training courses.
General Management:
Provide leadership in Facility Management to ensure services align with agreed scope and stakeholder expectations.
Manage the office environment, evaluate delivery methods, and recommend quality improvements.
Office Standards:
Enhance employee satisfaction by maintaining and improving office standards and amenities.
Monitor performance metrics and streamline workflow processes.
Support and manage the office budget, ensuring fiscal controls and accurate financial reporting.
Oversee capital and non-capital projects.
Vendor & Security Management:
Ensure consistent security measures (CCTV, access control).
Champion environmental health and safety initiatives.
Office Communication:
Be the main point of contact for office inquiries, oversee preventative maintenance through CMMS (Computer Maintenance Management System) software or equivalent for assignments, implementation, and follow-ups.
Provide office orientation and facilitate communication.
Coordinate space and service needs for special events and meetings.
Demonstrated experience in facilities/property management, commercial real estate, hospitality, health and safety (H&S) or related professional services industries
Graduation with Diploma in Facilities Management, H&S, or Related Field
Good command of MS Excel, Outlook, Teams.
Vendor management experience and basic financial skills
IOSH Qualification would be a strong asset
