This role requires full-time, on-site presence until the project's completion. While the primary location is Newark, any need to attend different sites will be minimal. Project Scope: The project involves constructing two in-situ concrete settlement tanks (9m diameter each), installation of below-ground pipework, ducts/drawpits, pump slabs, and manhole chambers, all within the water industry sector. Key Responsibilities: On-site Management: Oversee and drive the performance of subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project timelines and quality standards within the water industry. Autonomous Supervision: Work independently, interpreting construction drawings, and providing direction to contracting teams on-site. Communication: Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, including subcontractors and project management teams. Technical Facilitation: Assist in the facilitation of contracting teams, ensuring that all project requirements are met. IT Proficiency: Utilize relevant IT tools to manage and track project progress. Qualifications: SMSTS CSCS First Aid Skills: Strong ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and manage multiple subcontractors. Adequate IT skills for managing project documentation and communications
