Leveraged Finance Associate

Junior Associate opportunity in the general finance area at a major US firms London office is available. The practice caters to many of the highest-profile and valuable asset managers, being entrusted to act on some of their most challenging transactions. The Cravath paying firm are looking for a passionate and motivated lawyer with a broad range of Finance experience that can work closely with the hall of fame partners within the finance team.
Position Overview:
This international firm are looking for an PQE range of an NQ to a 6 PQE to Join a growing team which combine’s a high quality of work with a great work culture and that has seen this team grow from 8 to 50 across 2 years. As part of this esteemed firm, you will be expected to come into the firm and have an immediate impact on high-level market transactions. As a Junior Associate you will be working directly with Hall of fame Lawyers that have been quoted as ‘The highly experienced partners are accessible and responsive and set a standard of excellence which the whole team delivers. Strong and high quality across the board.’

Responsibilities:
- Looking for juniors that will work directly under the partners across the finance market particularly in their Leverages Finance, Fund Finance, Acquisition Finance, Securitisation and Corporate Tax.
- Oversee some of the largest deals in the Uk and Europe market for some of the biggest companies working directly with these corporations.
- Interact directly with Partners across different practice areas collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and strategic recommendations.
- Present and maintain a high level of work ensuring that billable hour targets are met with being of the highest level.
Qualifications:
- You must be and England and Wales qualified Lawyer that has completed seats in the finance area of Law.
- A level of technical ability in Finance area and preferrable a broad experience in Financial Law.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Hard, motivated and driven candidate, willing to showcase skill set under pressure and has strong experience from a high-level law firm.
