Procurement and Supply Chain Specialist

As a Strategic Procurement Specialist within Siemens Energy's Aeroderivative Gas Turbine Procurement Team, you will play a key role in developing and running a competitive, transparent, and sustainable supply chain. Your day will involve collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive productivity, quality, and digitisation. You will be responsible for supplier negotiations, contract management, and strategic sourcing to ensure the procurement function contributes to affordable clean energy.
Implement commodity strategies and define local/regional material field strategies for non-pooled commodities.
Negotiate local, regional, or multi-site contracts, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
Analyze market trends and leverage insights to optimize procurement strategies.
Monitor supplier performance, report important data, and encourage early supplier participation in cost reduction efforts. Identify and mitigate procurement risks while implementing strategic measures.
Bachelor's or Master's degree or CIPS qualified preferred
Strong commercial, contractual, and project management acumen.
Outstanding Excel skills for data analysis and reporting. Familiarity with component manufacturing processes and quality standards.
