Job Responsibilities
(Internal Title : Scheduling I)
- Apply project management knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to meet project requirements
- Assist in the preparation of the Master project schedule by defining activities, dependencies, and interfaces, with support from more experienced project team members
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of all the required project schedules throughout the entire project life cycle
- Participate in the creation and implementation of key scheduling requirements such as project calendars, and resource and data libraries
- Analyze routine schedule variances, schedule KPIs, floats, and trending data
- Follow the progress measurement process and compile accordingly
- Prepare schedule reports, graphs, and reports for project review meetings
- Coordinate, collect, and verify the work scope for all entities in the total project plan
- Gather required progress reports and dashboards to provide project status updates to all internal and external clients
- Complete any tasks assigned by Scheduling II or higher in an efficient and timely manner

Qualifications Required
Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Planning and Scheduling
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
Licenses OR Certifications:
- Holding an Oracle Primavera P6 certificate is considered an asset
Skills and Competencies:
- Experience in the Nuclear, Heavy Industry, Infrastructure, or EPC projects is considered an asset
- This is a hybrid role; the incumbent is expected to be in office a minimum of 3 days a week in the Durham region
- Well-versed in core project control concepts (WBS, CPM-based scheduling, and Earned Value Progress Measurement), and PMBOK/PMI principles
- Practical knowledge of multi-discipline engineering and construction projects
- Experienced in the use of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office
- Ability to arrange priorities and escalate competing risks to meet deadlines with minimum input from leadership
- Keen eye for detail and adept problem-solving abilities
- Must have demonstrated experience relaying and receiving information (written and verbal)
