We’re hiring a Head of Logistics for our GB Headquarters inAbingdon, Oxfordshire.

This is a pivotal role in leading the transformation from aB2B business to delivering ourD2C ambitions. We are looking for a transformational and compassionateleader who works well inahands-on logistics team.A key part of the GB leadership team, you will need to be able to influence senior leaders across different areas of the business to drive performance and results.

About the role

In your new role as the Head of Logistics, you’ll lead the Miele GB logisticsfunction and ensureservice excellence through all channels.

You will need strong operational leadership skills acrosswarehouse, transportation, logistics and stock. You will beworking with the wider leadership team on further developing our approach, beable to reduce complexity, cost and emissions in supply chain, whilst also leading and developing a team of 50 dedicated people.

A strong influencer and communicator, you will bring the team and key stakeholders along on the transformational journey and ensure that the ambitions for this area of the business is represented in all key business workstreams.

What will you need to bring to the role...

  • An engaging, people-led leader who can work collaboratively with the entire GB logistics function, whilst prioritising their development and progression.
  • Highly analytical and able to convert complex data into insights.
  • An operational expert in logistics, including 3PL transportation, owned warehousing and product forecasting
  • Have a clear passion and expertise in sustainability and process improvement in line with our Immer Besser philosophy.
