Aspen Medical seeks expressions of interest from experienced and qualified Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to join our team located in Makassar, Indonesia. The hospital is set to be a focal referral hub for the entire region. Expat executives are highly encouraged to apply for this position.
The CEO will develop goals and objectives for the organization and is responsible for ensuring that the hospital delivers high-quality, cost-effective care. In addition, this role will coordinate the development of services and facilities to fulfill the hospital's mission and develop ongoing strategic planning. Lastly, they will ensure that the services are responsive to our community health needs and integral to achieving the hospital's mission and values.
Contract Details:
Contract commitment: minimum 12 months
Relocation to Indonesia required.
Expat compensation packet: Develop and maintain contingency plans for services in adverse circumstances, such as external disasters, internal fires/floods, pandemics, hostage situations/terrorist threats, service interruption and labor disputes.
Develop and maintain an effective human resource management strategy, including succession planning for critical roles, recruitment, selection, orientation, evaluation, performance management, coaching and discipline (including discharge where necessary) and maintaining appropriate employee position descriptions.
Review budgetary reports every month with management staff and the Finance Committee of the Board and report regarding variances in budget expenditures at regular Board meetings.
Establish any required systems, including appropriate delegation and implementation of policies, to ensure the best use of facility resources, initiating corrective action where necessary.
Master’s degree preferred (e.g., or graduate of an accredited university with a degree in Management or related field.
Minimum of 7-10 years in health administration, preferably at the executive level.
Demonstrated administrative and financial management expertise in a small or medium size healthcare organization is highly preferred.
