About the Role :

Our client, a market leading consultancy with a global presence, is looking for an Associate Energy Analyst to join their offshore wind team in London. The role involves supporting high-profile projects within the offshore wind sector, conducting market and policy analysis, and providing strategic insights to clients. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to develop expertise in one of the fastest-growing renewable energy sectors globally.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct detailed analysis of the offshore wind industry, focusing on market dynamics, policy and regulatory changes, and technological advancements.
  • Support the financial analysis of offshore wind projects, including project feasibility and investment modelling.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for clients, providing actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Track developments in offshore wind technology and related sectors.
  • Collaborate with senior consultants to deliver high-quality advisory services to clients involved in offshore wind development.

Qualifications :

  • A degree in Energy, Environmental Science, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • A strong interest in the offshore wind sector and renewable energy.
  • Experience in energy analysis or consulting is a plus, but not essential.
  • Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with Excel, financial modelling, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a client-focused mindset.
