Creative Crowd have been briefed exclusively on a new full time Graphic Designer role with a Global Law firm based in East London.

Salary: 55k-65k

Hybrid working from East London office

Understanding of print and digital design essential

Mininum of 3-5 years experience within Graphic Design

Degree in Graphic Design or similar

Summary:

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for design from conception to completion for various projects that include, but are not limited to event email campaigns, event program materials, event branded promotional giveaways and deliverables and other email campaigns. Many are multi-component projects that include programmatic brand development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop concepts and creative designs for assigned projects

Collaborate with fellow designers and production artists as well as content writers and design supervisors, as needed, for projects

Consult with lawyers and/or supervisor to evaluate individual project needs

Coordinate production activities including preparation of time estimates for projects and produce final documents (file prep, styles, templates, tables, table of contents, etc.)

Review all art and graphics for consistency of design

Perform quality check for spelling, format and style

Render computer generated drawings and graphics, and modify existing clip art, digital

images and layout according to specifications

Work in Firm’s email marketing software to upload graphic design files; ensure graphics and links function correctly

Format marketing materials, as needed

Other projects as assigned

Education and/or Experience:

Required :

Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university.

Demonstrated knowledge of graphic design, typography for both print and digital media.

A minimum of 3 years of experience manipulating/integrating graphics from spreadsheet or presentation applications for projects ranging from small proposals to large complex efforts with extensive graphics.

Portfolio of work, both in print and digital form.

Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Acrobat.

Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Adobe Dreamweaver is a bonus but not essential

Experience with email marketing software such as Vuture; or a similar program

Knowledge of the rendering of content for the internet and HTML 5 compliancy.

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.

Experience with print techniques including offset and digital production processes, and various stocks

Ability to work within design templates and translate design concepts into finished work product.

Preferred :

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

5+ years of experience manipulating/integrating graphics from spreadsheet or presentation applications for projects ranging from small proposals to large complex efforts with extensive graphics.
