Job Description
Are you a Law Firm Risk & Compliance expert looking to make a significant impact in a new role? We are excited to let you know about an exciting opportunity with a leading city Law Firm who are looking for a Data Protection SME who can head up their Risk & Compliance function.
As the Head of Compliance & DPO, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to regulations and safeguarding data privacy within our dynamic environment. You'll lead a talented team and help shape the risk and compliance strategy across the firm.
Some of the duties and responsibilities Include:
Developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures.
Providing expert guidance on regulatory issues and SRA Standards and Regulations.
Leading GDPR compliance efforts and data protection initiatives.
Conducting risk assessments and delivering comprehensive training programs.
Acting as a liaison with regulatory bodies and managing data breach incidents.
To be considered for this role, you will have:
Thorough knowledge of SRA Standards and Regulations.
Understanding of UK data protection laws and GDPR.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated leadership and project management experience.
