Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has a new opportunity for a CHC QIPP Programme Manager on a 3 months contract with the possibility of further extension.

Main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting the ICB CHC commissioning leads to deliver projects to time specification and cost effectively.
  • Lead on a number of projects key in delivering financial break even for ICB such as management of all High-Cost Packages of care.
  • Implementation of Qipp efficiency savings strategies.
  • Provider market management
  • Map patient journeys, care pathways manage contractual mechanisms in facilitating change.
  • Collate and interpret hard data and soft intelligence.
  • Employ retrospective and prospective analytical skills in managing financial and service level performance.
  • CHC cohort clinical pathway mapping and responsible commissioning management
  • To foster effective working relationships with key stakeholders to gain commitment, full involvement and engaged in the work, addressing issues as they arise.
  • To determine the most suitable approach to meet the required outcomes in terms of allocating grant funding to providers, in the context of maintaining a sustainable market.
  • To develop a benefits realisation plan in partnership with wider digital team
  • Use specialist knowledge, consultancy skills and experience to advise on digital solutions and guide ICB staff on a course of action.
  • To diagnose complex digital problems by analysing information and data in order to recommend a solution.
  • To develop, maintain and monitor plans for projects, tailoring the plans in accordance with the complexity of the project.
  • To develop business cases for securing project funding using experience to ensure that costs for all impacted departments and/or services are identified.

Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject
  • Educated to masters level or equivalent level of experience of working at a senior level in specialist area.
  • Member of relevant professional body (NMC)
  • Comprehensive experience of project principles and techniques and tools such as Prince 2, MSP, Agile, APM
  • An understanding of the background to and aims of current healthcare policy in the UK and appreciate the implications of this on engagement
  • Experience of working in areas of technical innovation and displaying a strong understanding of the innovation or digital landscapes
  • Evidence of post qualifying and continuing professional development
