National Competitions and Volunteers Coordinator

Join Archery GB as National Competitions and Volunteers Coordinator and you will have the opportunity to make a real impact.

Location: Lilleshall National Sports Centre, Shropshire for minimum of 3 days/week

As part of the Competitions Team, you will support the planning and delivery of a national programme of events utilising our skilled and dedicated volunteer workforce and community of judges.

With strong relationship building skills you will support the recruitment and development of volunteers and liaise with our Judges’ Working Group to ensure the effective resourcing of all events.

Outside of the main competition/event activity you will oversee the maintenance of National Records, ensuring rankings are updated and progress is recognised. And when there are gaps in the events calendar you will be organising our virtual/online competitions.

The successful candidate will have strong planning and organisation skills, experience in managing projects and events including budget management and demonstrate good communication skills.

Flexibility is key to this role as events often take place at weekends and the role is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
