**Location**: Throughout Herefordshire

**Hours**: Flexible

**Purpose of the role**:
Many older people are unaware of the benefits they can claim and may need support with completing the relevant forms. Our benefits volunteers will provide a tailored service to meet the individual needs of the clients. They will be supporting older people to complete benefits forms for example: Attendance allowance and Blue Badges.

**What is required of me?**
- Our benefits volunteers are required to have a patient and understanding attitude when they are helping to support clients.
- We require our benefits volunteers to commit to one day of volunteering per week. Don’t worry if you are not well or are on holiday, we can always re-arrange your appointments.

Travel expenses will be reimbursed to you.
