Reporting into the Project Management Lead the Project Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Working closely with our clients BA and Change teams, internal customers and external partners delivering key change helping our client to reach its business goals. The role will be part of the Portfolio Office.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget, including the creation and maintenance of project plans, managing resources, working with third parties and strategic partners.
- Manage a portfolio of projects including reporting, deliverables, and benefits tracking. Provide best practice and advice on project management frameworks and standards for PMO and wider business.
- Ensure budgets are managed by forecasting requirements, preparing budgets, scheduling expenditures, analysing variances and initiating corrective actions
- Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Manage stakeholders across the business to ensure alignment to deliver the project
Skills
- Great interpersonal skills to work well with your key business partners
- Proven track record for planning, executing, controlling, and closing projects and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision
- Experienced in both agile and waterfall methodologies
- Experience of working within a PMO environment
- Oracle and Salesforce experience is desirable
