Caretaker Required Connex Education are working on behalf of a SEN school based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire in search of a Caretaker. Start date: as soon as possible End date: tbc Contract type: Long-term, permanent Location: Nuneaton, Warwickshire Shift pattern: Monday to Friday – 2pm – 7pm or 2:30pm – 7:30pm Job Description: Unlocking and locking up the school site as well as individual departments Keeping the school grounds maintained and tidied General maintenance, DIY - fixing and put furniture together, painting Litter picking Assisting with any school deliveries Overlooking the schools health and safety. Carrying out fire drills/test. Checking fire extinguishers and other health and safety aspects of the schools Liaising with contractors and escorting them around site Setting up classrooms and halls for assemblies and parents' evenings Gardening and outdoor site maintenance - lawn mowing, using a strimmer, weeding, litter picking. Requirements: Must have or be willing to complete an enhanced DBS check. Be experienced within the role.
