Your New Role

You will report into the Programme Lead and be able to design and implement impactful change strategies to deliver sustainable change.

  • Provide change management and communications support for major change initiative workstream(s).
  • Partner with workstream leaders and project managers to ensure successful and sustainable delivery of all aspects of the initiative.
  • Perform change impact assessments to identify key risks and resistance to successful implementation.
  • Develop and deliver on comprehensive partner engagement, communications, and training plans to address challenges and ensure project success.
  • Partner with Program Team and stakeholders to create and implement an overall communication plan and strategy for the programme.
  • Identify and define key messages to communicate the program narrative and then create key communication artefacts across multiple medias to drive transparency in support of the implementation of the Programme.
  • Create plans for assessing Business Readiness of proposed workstream changes and the measuring of adoption and success of change.
  • Support the programme and change leadership in the planning and activities related to Stakeholder Management & Engagement
  • Ensure alignment of change impact with organizational KPIs and metrics
  • Ensure that a library of key communication assets and artefacts is created and maintained
  • Identifies and works with key programme stakeholders to deliver key communication tasks – e.g.online posts and written updates, through to senior stakeholder presentations and local/ global forums and town hall support.
  • Lead work with external service providers where applicable.

Essential Skills

  • Strong Change management Skills/ understanding, with a record of delivering successful change.
  • Understanding of new technologies (such as A.I.), successful implementation and business value realisation.
  • Strong understanding of successful Digital Transformation and implementing new operating models/ ways of working.
  • Understanding of the Drug Development Process.
  • Expertise in developing comms strategies, with a consistent record of delivering impactful interventions in a busy change landscape
  • Strong networking/consulting skills with good internal/external links
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to influence others both upward and downward to achieve objectives.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language and in alignment with AZ business.

Desirable Skills

  • Formal qualifications in change management and, project management methodologies
  • Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context
  • Pharmaceutical R&D experience
