Actio Technical Recruitments dedicated Electronics recruitment team are assisting one of our Ferndown based clients with their search for an Electronics Quality Engineer to join their team.

Purpose of the role

In this key position, the successful candidate will be reporting to the Quality Manager and working to ISO9001, AS9100 & ISO14001standards where you will be contributing to the improvement and maintenance of the companies quality management system and functions.

Our client are a long established and successful contract manufacturing business who provide solutions and components for a number of industries and high end clients. Based out of their large and modern premises in Ferndown they have built a reputation for quality across the industry and hold numerous ISO and AS accreditations.

The Job

  • Ensuring client and company quality standards are met
  • Take part in internal and client quality audits
  • Non conformity management including failure analysis, route cause and preventative actions
  • Assisting test team in the with calibration processes
  • Producing FAIR s and maintaining relevant logs
  • Performing supplier reviews
  • Working to quality KPI s
  • When required, some good in inspection
  • Deputising for Quality Manager
  • Supporting continuous improvement

About You

We are looking for candidates who have proven experience within Quality in the manufacturing sector including experience with internal auditing (auditing and IPC certification would be an advantage but not essential).

You will have a strong understanding of Microsoft packages, auditing experience to ISO9001:2015 (AS9100:2016 preferred) and have proven experience with quality management system standards.

Pay and Benefits

GBP15 to GBP15.50 per hour depending on experience

Permanent employment

Free parking

Monday to Thursday (no Fridays)

Sick pay

Pension

Generous holiday allowance
