Purpose As aQuality Engineer,you will support the Engineering & Quality function, taking on responsibility for the management and control of the internal audit programs, calibration, customer quality interface and other related tasks, to assist the business the business manage quality control techniques, customer quality approvals, local laws and HSE regulative compliance. Employer Rubicon Recruitment's client is an international engineering businesswho pride themselves on tapping into high growth sectors as they arise. Work hours are typically07:30 - 16:30, with ahalf day Friday(flexibility on core hours). The company also offer25 days holiday (+ BHs), privatehealth care, discretionarybonusesand more. Responsibilities AsaQualityEngineer,you will: Assist and support the implementingcontinuous improvementtechniques and processes within thequality and inspection functionsManage the internalauditprogram / schedule, supported by write ups and actions
Manage and control thecalibration process, ensuring all items remain within calibration or quarantine
Managecustomer and internal NCRs
Develop and supportquality improvement plansand forums implementingPFMEA processand a'zero defect' cultureand approach
Update and controldocumentation, policies and proceduresrelating to engineering and quality functions
Lead and facilitate themonthly HSE reviewsensuring robust corrective actions are implemented to improve future position
Monitor and audit the initialrisk assessment processand ensure all areas maintain up to daterisk assessmentsat all times
Background The successfulQuality Engineerwill have: Knowledge ofISO9001 & ASO9100
