The Role:

We are looking for a candidate that canteach Spanish and French.Who can contribute to the overall leadership of Irlam and Cadishead Academy. You will provide professional leadership and management to the Modern Foreign Languages department in order to secure high quality teaching, the effective use of resources and improved standards of learning and achievement of all students.

Make outstanding academic progress in Modern Foreign Languages through outstanding teaching and effective intervention and catch-up strategies.

Engage and promote MFL in the wider academy through language days, assemblies and promoting the importance of languages in careers.

Revise and develop the MFL curriculum collaboratively with the team across the Academy.

Reward students for their hard work throughout the year and increase their love for MFL through promoting the subject whole school.

Ensure the wider curriculum for MFL provides a variety of opportunities for students
