We areactively seeking a dedicated motivated and experienced professionalwho possesses a genuine passion for languages cultural diversityand global understanding. As the Head of MFL you will play apivotal role in shaping the language curriculum and fostering alove for languages among our students. With a strong commitment toexcellence in education you will deliver engaging andstudentcentred lessons that inspire and empower learners to becomeconfidentcommunicators.

Responsibilities
  • Leadand manage the MFL department ensuring the delivery of anexceptional MFL curriculum
  • Provide strategicdirection and support to MFL teachers fostering a positive learningenvironment
  • Monitor and evaluate the progressand achievements of students in MFL
  • Collaboratewith colleagues to develop and implement effective teachingstrategies and resources
  • Mentor and guide MFLteachers promoting professional growth anddevelopment
  • Contribute to the schools languageprograms and extracurricularactivities
  • Maintain accurate records of studentattendance behaviour andachievements
Requirements

  • QualifiedTeacher Status (QTS) orequivalent
  • Specialization in Modern ForeignLanguages (MFL) or a related field
  • Postgraduatedegree in MFL or Language Education(preferred)
  • Significant experience teaching MFLpreferably at the secondary level
  • Provenleadership and management skills with the ability to inspire andmotivate others
  • Excellent command of multiplelanguages
  • Strong communication organization andinterpersonal skills
  • Commitment to ongoingprofessional development and staying updated with advancements inlanguageeducation
