Procurement Manager

• 37.5 hours per week – 1 pm finish on a Friday

To be successful in this position, you will have/be;

· Proven experience in a progressive manufacturing environment

· Demonstrated management skills that ensure supply chain alignment, empowering, motivating, and inspiring confidence in others

· Effective time management skills, adept at multitasking and prioritizing tasks

· Broad knowledge of commodities related to aerospace seat builds

· Experience in negotiating and implementing legal contracts

· Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and inventory control processes

· Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with commercial supplier organizations and negotiating with suppliers

· Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, VA/VE, problem-solving tools, and components of a lean/continuous improvement work environment

· Ability to present data effectively to all levels of the business

· Strong commercial acumen

· Five years of similar supply chain experience within manufacturing, preferably aerospace

· Builds positive working relationships with direct reports and peer groups.

· Proven ability to make business decisions based on quantitative data and weigh alternative solutions

· Clean and current driving license required; occasional business travel may be necessary

· CIPS accreditation or relevant related degree depending on industry experience
