Business Development Executive Construction

Company Description Ventive is a dynamic, VC-backed company that specialises in intelligent & renewable building services solutions, such as its award-winning Windhive technology, providing healthy spaces for schools and other multi-occupancy buildings, without the usual running cost of traditional systems. Windhive has been deployed to over 50 projects and is well positioned for the £15.4bn Construction Framework 25 recently published by the Department for Education.
This role requires hands-on sales execution, working closely across multiple stakeholders with contractors, distributors, and strategic partners to secure specification sales of our passive ventilation solutions in new and renovated schools. The right candidate will have well-established relationships across the construction ecosystem and a deep technical understanding of HVAC requirements in multi-occupancy buildings, such as to be credible in delivering specification sales.
Salary Package : £40-60k FTE, Sales Commission, inclusion in equity options scheme
Leverage own relationships with Architects, Building Services Consultants, M&E Consultants, M&E Contractors and Main/Sub-Contractors to build Windhive sales pipeline, especially in the education sector
Evaluate the influencers and decision-makers within CF25 contractors
Increase brand awareness with specifiers in the construction sector, architects, and other stakeholders
Collaborate on development of marketing collateral to develop targeted campaigns
At least 5+ years’ experience in HVAC product sales to the construction sector
Demonstrable existing relationships with stakeholders across contractors, M&E consultants, architects and distributors.
Understanding of building regulations around ventilation with a robust knowledge of building physics
Exceptional project management, organisational and planning skills
