And right now, we’re looking for a PA and Events Coordinator. Based at our Stoke Poges location, you’ll provide strong organisational support to the Head of Communications, global Communications team and Social Impact Programme to enable the delivery of communications and social impact projects, and to organise and execute the delivery of key Urenco events.

What will your day look like?

  • Provide day-to-day proactive support to the Head of Communications, including inbox and diary management and arranging domestic and international travel.
  • Develop and implement a detailed events plan and organise key internal and external events. This includes conferences, reward and recognition events, employee events, briefings, seminars, workshops, forums, receptions, dinners and attendance at key conferences.
  • Monitor and submit the communications and social impact annual budgets and reports such as in year estimates and 10 year business plan.
  • Work with a wide range of colleagues to develop and deliver Urenco’s social impact programme, which include building strategic partnerships with other organisations.
  • Carry out communications department administration such as scheduling and coordinating meetings, distributing meeting agendas and action lists, and supporting with the coordination of the publication of key announcements, events and other communication activity.

What do you need to be great at this role?

  • Proven administrative experience working at a senior level, specifically organising complex travel itineraries and diary-management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships with a wide range of people, both internal and external.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills in relation to events.
  • Experience of communications with senior levels of management
  • Ability to work on own initiative and manage/prioritise own workload.
  • Great ability to respond to changing priorities.
  • Knowledge and experience of using Content Management Systems is desirable.
