Due to continued investment, we have an exciting opportunity for a Sales Trainer to join our People and Culture team, reporting into our Learning and Development Manager and a dotted line into our Chief Revenue Officer.

This will be a truly rewarding role, which will help shape the learning and development of our sales organisation and further delivery opportunity in both revenue and margin delivery. We hope you'll have a passion for sales, have a successful track record in sales, and know how to create a positive result driven learning environment in the B2B Sales environment.

  • Writing training material for classroom led sales training and delivering training to sales varying levels of sales, business development and client success colleagues.
  • Working with sales management to support their team with individual sales development needs.
  • Adopt a blended learning approach (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training) develop managers to imbed learning.
  • Deskside training and 1-2-1 coaching on Sales techniques.
  • Review and analyse current sales process functions, Identifying strong existing sales talent within the business.
  • Develop and implement effective training plans, content for training sessions, and matrixes to keep track of staff training.
  • Work with various department managers and executives to present and discuss information on training performance.
  • Articulate a full ROI in learning activity linking learning to marginal gains and results. We would expect this to be managed on an individual, team, department, and business basis.
  • Lead sales training across our group (UK, Ireland, South Africa, and US) whilst being UK based.
  • Carry our projects linked to learning or the wider People and Culture roadmap/ strategy as and when required, including LMS administration and reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years previous experience in a similar training role or across 2/3 companies demonstrating impact on revenue and margin.
  • Excellent data analysis skills.
  • Experience building online material and integrating an LMS.
  • Knowledge of industry sales techniques and processes.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to design and deliver effective training programs.
  • Outstanding coaching skills.
  • Experience with building and developing teams.
