Angove Partners is working with a global insurance company, seeking a Senior or Master Technician based in or around Milton Keynes.
About the role:
As a Financial Lines Senior Operations Technician, you will focus on specific product lines and provide extensive support to the broking team. You will handle the administration and support tasks related to clients' insurance needs, ensuring compliance, meeting targets, and delivering outstanding service.
Responsibilities include:
- Work with senior team members to set priorities, manage workloads, and assist junior staff.
- Oversee and contribute to assigned projects.
- Supply relevant management information when needed.
- Ensure timely client invoicing and monitor policy changes.
- Investigate and suggest solutions for non-routine processing issues.
- Perform complex debiting tasks.
- Assist in preparing detailed broking, client, and other necessary documents.
- Conduct technical duties such as data entry, credit control, and managing subjectivities.
About you:
- Strong knowledge of the Lloyd's and London market.
- Proficiency in IT tools including Microsoft tools and Insurance software.
- Comprehensive understanding of FCA regulations related to insurance intermediaries.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to mentor junior staff.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
- Strong communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Willingness to pursue professional certifications.
