The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in a finance role, with at least 3 of them being at a Senior level.
As the Finance Lead, you will be a key player in my client's central finance team. You will support the Chief Financial and Operations Officer in delivering strategic and operational finance services across their network of sites. With a proven track record in financial management, you will help maintain and enhance the financial health of the organisation, ensuring high standards and regulatory compliance.
Leadership and Strategy: Support the CFO in executing strategic finance initiatives and deputise as needed. Lead the production of three-year budgets and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Financial Management: Oversee the monthly management account process, ensuring timely and accurate forecasts. Maintain internal controls and support system enhancements for finance software.
Audit and Compliance: Lead the year-end audit process and internal audits, ensuring accurate and complete financial schedules. Ensure compliance with the company handbook, Company law, and the external regulatory bodies.
Operational Excellence: Provide financial leadership across the organisation, supporting managers with sound financial data for decision-making. Maximise value for money and ensure effective financial controls and procedures are in place.
Team Leadership: Manage and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Competitive Salary: Up to £75k depending on experience
Hybrid Working: Flexibility with two days per week working from home.
