Are you ready to join Renault Group UK to become our data expert, specialising in applications, processes, data protection, CRM, and data flows? We are seeking someone with extensive data knowledge and expertise to support our CRM systems and Legal DPO tools, ensuring smooth operations and compliance across the business.
What will you be doing?
In this role, you will collaborate closely with key business users to maximise the value of data across the organisation. You will develop a deep understanding of our processes, data, and data flows to provide expert guidance to both business and technical teams, contributing to projects as needed. A crucial aspect of your role will be to promote the use of the corporate data lake for reporting, ensuring widespread adoption of this architecture. Building strong relationships with key business and corporate stakeholders, you will become the go-to expert for all things 'data.' You will support the Digital Marketing team in managing CRM IS processes, data platforms, campaign management tools, and analytics needs. Where appropriate, you will facilitate the transition of legacy activities to internal teams.
A core responsibility will be to support the Legal team in managing data protection processes. This includes handling data subject access requests, customer complaint information, data breach reports, keeping record of processing activities up to date, legal system updates (such as privacy policies), data protection risk assessments, legitimate interest assessments, basic data protection training to business teams and data protection ambassadors and providing security and governance support. Additionally, you will focus on identifying opportunities for process automation and implementing best practices. You will also provide support to the Security and Governance team on data-related queries, ensuring high standards of data management and compliance throughout the business.
Success will be measured by the quality of subject matter expert advice provided on Data Architecture, the on-time delivery of key projects, and the effectiveness of your data expertise in supporting security, governance, CRM, and data protection initiatives.
Who are you?
The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills with the ability to navigate and understand complex data flows. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with strong negotiation abilities, enabling you to communicate effectively across all levels of the business. Experience working in a corporate data or reporting environment is expected, and you should be comfortable discussing the advantages and drawbacks of both current and emerging technology trends.
A solid understanding of Agile project management methodologies, along with expertise in data protection, GDPR, and data governance, is essential. You are likely to have held previous roles in areas such as Data Protection, Data Analytics, Business Analysis, Product Ownership, or CRM. Experience with BI reporting tools (e.g., Spotfire) would be a valuable asset.
