Here is what you can expect to be doing:The Contracts Manager is responsible for all aspects of the specific customer contract management and will be the main focal point between the company and its customer(s) through all aspects of contract lifecycle, from agreement of new contracts to existing contract renewals, ensuring exceptional customer service and client satisfaction. Duties include, but not limited to, contract negotiation, price negotiation, development and maintenance of contract and NDA database, overseeing contractual price updates, review of NDA’s, internal communication of contractual terms and pricing updates, face-to-face customer meetings and delivery of contractual proposals.
- Management and responsibility for all new and existing contracts.
- Managing all aspects of contract control both internally and direct with the client.
- Upholding contractual compliance within the business.
- Management of contract extensions to conclusion.
- Production of contract review forms and summaries for sign off within the business.
- Negotiation of contractual terms with customers to a mutual agreement
- Develop and maintain a contracts and NDA database to include contract term, expiry dates etc.
- Organising and attending all relevant contractual meetings internally and externally with or at customer premises.
- Negotiation of contractual pricing with support of the Business Development team when required.
- Review of all NDA’s received to aid sign off.
- Be the first point of contact for all contractual activities internally and customers.
- Other duties as appropriate in support of the customer and internal departments.
- Uphold processes that assure the effective Health, Safety and Environmental best practices as defined by the Brookhouse HSE management system.
- Experience of contracts management within an aerospace manufacturing environment, or similar, with a relevant degree qualification desirable.
- Understanding of contractual language and interpretation is essential.
- Good commercial understanding and experience desired.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Computer literate and experienced in MS Office to a high standard including Excel and ability to present.
- Problem solving mentality.
- Analytical thinker and self-aware.
- High-level customer and business awareness.
- Ability to travel, hold a clean UK driving license and passport.
- Flexibility to carry out tasks and duties.
- Team-worker
- 4-day week Monday to Thursday 07:15 am to 5:00 pm totalling 37 hours weekly.
- Holidays start at 28 days per year (including Bank Holidays) Based on the 4-day week.
