They are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join the team in Wokingham. As a Payroll Officer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for clients in different industry sectors. You will work under the guidance of an experienced Payroll Manager and collaborate with a team of four Payrollers to deliver exceptional payroll services.
Process and manage payroll for a portfolio of clients, ensuring all statutory and regulatory requirements are met.
Accurately calculate and input employee hours, salary adjustments, deductions, and other payroll-related data.
Validate and process payroll reports, including payslips, tax forms, and year-end reports.
Stay updated on tax laws and legislation related to payroll to ensure compliance.
Maintain up-to-date and organized client records and payroll information.
Collaborate with the Payroll Manager and team members to resolve payroll-related issues and improve processes.
Assist in the preparation and submission of payroll-related reports to relevant authorities.
Previous experience in payroll processing and administration is preferred.
Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance.
Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Office applications.
