Job Description

We're currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager for a Mechanical and Engineering Specialist based in Uxbridge. This role will cover sites within the M25.

The ideal candidate will have a background in the Mechanical Services trade path and a clear understanding of the Mechanical Services industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Day to day management of site construction activities including direct labour and sub-contractors while coordinating key project duties.
  2. Monitoring the overall progress of works against the agreed construction programme.
  3. Working with the client and own team to manage day-to-day challenges.
  4. Completing site progress reports and issuing them to the Project/Contracts Manager.
  5. Liaising with the commercial team to coordinate changes/variations.
  6. Maintaining accurate on-site records of all goods received on a weekly basis and ensuring correct processing.
  7. Managing all Waste transfers and maintaining accurate records for waste disposal and separation.
  8. Ensuring implementation and adherence to all Health and Safety procedures.
  9. Deputising for the Project/Contract Manager when required.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Level 4 or above in Construction Management.
  • Experience and expert knowledge of H&S Legislation.
  • SMSTS/SSSTS certification.
  • Experience in setting up new sites.
  • First Aid at Work certification.
