But not essential.SALARY: Competitive + Overtime Available + BenefitsLOCATION: Bristol, South West EnglandJOB TYPE: Full-Time, PermanentJOB OVERVIEWWe have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Welder / Fabricator has good welding and metalwork experience.Working as the Welder / Fabricator you will join an existing team and will play a crucial role in the fabrication process, utilising your expertise in welding and metalwork to build new commercial vehicle bodies. Previous commercial vehicle bodywork experience would be great. But not essential, providing you have a solid welding and metalwork background.As the Welder / Fabricator you will need to be a team player with the ability to work on your own initiative and preferably work with a range of materials.APPLY TODAYIf this job looks like your ideal position, then please send in your CV as soon as possible for our Recruitment Team to review.DUTIESYour duties as the Welder / Fabricator include:Perform welding and fabrication tasks according to project requirementsFabricate and assemble vehicle components, including chassis, body panels, and structural elementsInterpret technical drawings and schematics to ensure accurate assembly and alignmentSelect appropriate materials and welding methods for each project, considering factors such as strength, durability, and aestheticsConduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet company standards and client expectationsMaintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices for welding and metal fabricationCANDIDATE REQUIREMENTSMust be fully conversant with mild and galvanised steel MIG welding processes. Any Alloy MIG Welding skills would be advantageousStrong knowledge of metal fabrication processes, including cutting, bending, and shapingFamiliarity with automotive assembly techniques and components (Desirable)Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbolsDetail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality workmanshipExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environmentHOW TO APPLYTo be considered for this job vacancy, please submit your CV to our Recruitment Team who will review your details.
