Are you an experienced SEN Teacher looking for a new role?

Veritas Education is recruting for:

Title: SEN Teacher
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only
The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people with a range of complex learning needs. You may have specialist knowledge and experience of working with autistic spectrum condition or pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Applications are invited from colleagues offering middle leadership experience, from mainstream schools and other educational settings, experience of assessment, planning and delivery of Maths.

The ability to contribute to the development of our school is essential and we believe that energy, passion and a commitment to high standards are key characteristics required. We are looking for an individual who is able to help inspire and engage the young people that we serve. Previous experience of working in a SEN environment would be desirable, excellent support skills and the right motivation, personal qualities and levels of resilience are also just as important.

The School provides specialist education to pupils with social, emotional and behaviour difficulties. We are within a commutable distance of Telford, Dudley, Stourbridge, Shrewsbury, Stone, Walsall, Wolverhampton and surrounding towns. We are a small school on the outskirts of Shifnal with stunning grounds and rolling countryside surrounding us. Our staff are dedicated to delivering education in a therapeutic and trauma informed way.

07% statutory holiday pay. Our working opportunities include temporary positions, permanent contracts and ad-hoc supply.

Veritas Education work with a variety of schools covering a wide geographical area. We deal with teaching placements at Primary, Secondary and college level as well as support staff positions also within these.
