Role Overview: As an HSEQ Advisor based in Nigg, Scotland, you will be instrumental in ensuring our operations meet the highest standards of health, safety, environmental compliance, and quality assurance. Your role is vital to our mission of executing complex projects safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with HSE legislation, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Implement and monitor health, safety, environmental, and quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Drive the business EHS culture by utilising the EHS Process as the standard approach.
  • Conduct risk assessments and establish effective control measures.
  • Oversee the application of CDM2015 regulations, particularly in roles such as Principal Contractor or Principal Designer.
  • Ensure adherence to COMAH and CoSHH Regulations.
  • Compile reports for all partners on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis to issue site EHS performance data.
  • Present weekly EHS data for communication to the senior management team.
  • Deliver training and guidance to staff on HSEQ matters.
  • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure a cohesive approach to HSEQ management.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum NEBOSH Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Health and Safety (or higher).
  • Sound knowledge of HSE legislation, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Extensive experience with CDM2015 regulations.
  • Must have a good working knowledge of COMAH and CoSHH Regulations.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a HSE Advisor in a high-risk industry (Project deconstruction, decommissioning - Desirable), however if you have experience in Oil & Gas, Offshore or Construction you are encouraged to apply.
  • Must have a valid CSCS/CCDO card.
  • IOSH accreditation.
  • Strong leadership, mentoring, and people management skills. Able to influence at all levels of a business
  • Initiative taker with autonomous working style & ability to work under limited supervision.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
