Job Description We are currently seeking a Management Accountant to join our Central Finance team at our Appleton Thorn site.
As Management Accountant you will support the central finance department in a variety of tasks such as journal posting and month end reconciliations, as well as business partnering cost centre owners and furthering their finance knowledge and education in a £600m business.
This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring finance professional to build on their experience and develop new skills in a vibrant and faced paced team.
This is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday 8.30p m offering a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a market leader.
Job responsibilities of Management Accountant include:
Financial Reporting: Prepare the financial reporting of central overhead cost centres, both profit and loss and balance sheet reporting
Data Entry: Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems and maintain up-to-date financial records.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Preparation of budgets and financial forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgets.
Audit Support: Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
Qualifications To apply for the role of Management Accountant you will possess the following skills, experiences and qualifications:
GCSEs including Maths and English at grade 5 or above are essential.
AAT Level 4 or equivalent essential.
Part qualified CIMA/ ACCA preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Full UK Driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
