Job Description

My client is a leading distributor of alcoholic beverages, specializing in sourcing and distributing premium spirits, wines, and beers. With a commitment to quality and excellence, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our customers while adhering to strict regulatory standards.

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our Compliance Team within our bonded warehouse facility. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations governing the storage, handling, and distribution of alcoholic beverages in a bonded warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local regulations governing the storage, handling, and distribution of alcoholic beverages in a bonded warehouse setting.
  2. Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all incoming and outgoing shipments, including invoices, manifests, and other relevant documentation required for compliance purposes.
  3. Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels of alcoholic beverages within the bonded warehouse, conducting regular audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  4. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain quality control procedures to safeguard the integrity and authenticity of alcoholic beverages stored within the bonded warehouse, including regular inspections and assessments.
  5. Safety and Security: Collaborate with the warehouse management team to enforce safety protocols and security measures to protect both personnel and inventory within the facility.
  6. Communication and Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between the Compliance Team, warehouse staff, suppliers, and regulatory agencies, facilitating clear and effective communication to ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  7. Training and Education: Provide training and guidance to warehouse personnel on compliance-related matters, including proper handling procedures, documentation requirements, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working in a bonded warehouse environment, preferably within the alcoholic beverages industry would be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements governing the storage, handling, and distribution of alcoholic beverages, including TTB regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and interact professionally with regulatory agencies.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
  • Experience conducting internal audits and implementing corrective actions.
