I am working with a leading UK firm who are looking to hire a commercial lawyer to join them in a PSL function. This role would be suitable for current PSLs / fee-earners and in-house legal counsels looking to diversify into a knowledge lawyer position.

The role focuses on providing support to the commercial lawyers regarding high-profile commercial contracts, IT and advisory work ranging across a number of specialisms and sectors.

Key roles & Responsibilities for Commercial Knowledge Lawyer

  • Providing updates on legal precedents and guidance briefings across various documents.
  • Working closely with the Partners and keeping the team up to speed on key legal developments.
  • Over-seeing and organizing pre-existing training / on-boarding programmes in the Uk.
  • Autonomously reflecting and helping the team with technical queries relative to practice and common law.
  • Upholding knowledge management innovation and legal technology solutions.

Qualifications & Requirements for Commercial Knowledge Lawyer

  • Qualified commercial Lawyer
  • Prior knowledge lawyer experience in commercial law however, this role is suitable for current commercial law fee-earners and in-house legal counsels looking to diversify into a knowledge lawyer role (passion for knowledge development is essential)
  • Ability to provide clear and comprehensive advise to the team.

The firm would be open to considering candidates looking for a part-time 4 day-a -week arrangement and has a very flexible hybrid working policy .
