Finance Manager Our client is a leading player in the construction and development sector. With a strong commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability, we specialise in delivering high-value projects that redefine communities. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing all financial aspects of our construction and development projects, ensuring sound financial management and contributing to the company’s overall success. Responsibilities:
- Manage all financial activities related to construction projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor project financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to provide financial guidance and support throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct financial analysis to evaluate project feasibility, profitability, and return on investment.
- Coordinate with accounting team to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and financial transactions.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Implement and enforce financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes affecting the construction and development sector.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role in the construction or development industry.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions.
- Solid understanding of construction project management principles, including cost estimation, scheduling, and risk management.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, ERP systems, and project management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of successfully leading and developing finance teams.
