Data Platform Product Manager London, hybrid, 2 days per week in office.

Due to an exciting period of growth for our client, an excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Product Manager/Owner, to join an established and well-known organisation within the legal sector.

Be a data visionary. Define and execute the roadmap & backlog for data platforms in your domain/remit, to support the business vision and KPIs.
• Manage all Data & BI demand and prioritisation balancing business benefits, technology needs and complexity/risk to achieve. Contribute to the wider data strategy and vision.
• Have accountability for the end-to-end delivery of data platform enhancements and transformations. Effectively manage dependencies, risks, issues and resources (internal or external). Be accountable for the quality of data and platforms releases, balancing quality vs speed
• Deeply analyze data sources to understand gaps and ensure quality standards are kept
• Provide a constant stream of high-quality requirements (epics, stories) with clear acceptance criteria in a timely fashion
• Contribute to improving data standards and quality controls

Demonstrates sound and pragmatic judgement, balancing pace, risk and business value to reach decisions and deliver solutions
• Understands and champions agile ways of working
• Is Customer and data centric in approach • Proactive self-starter who continuously seeks ways to improve
• able to turn findings into actions Skills and Experience: • Significant experience as a data business partner / manager / product owner / data analyst or technical business analyst.

Significant experience as a data business partner / manager / product owner / data analyst or technical business analyst in a data platform domain
• Be an experienced subject matter expert within the data platform domain, with strong technical knowledge and demonstrable passion, including understanding on (some of):

o Data lakes, data marts, data warehousing (Azure Data Bricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, HD Insight) o SQL, NoSQL and Graph databases o Processing structured and unstructured data, data models, single customer view o Enterprise Data Modelling o Data schemas and knowledge of schema methods (YAML, XML, etc) o Data visualization tools e.g. Tableau, QlikView, Looker, MS PowerBI o Data science, machine learning & AI o Data compliance standards and regulations: PII, GDPR, CCPA, etc o Experience of handling PII datasets and operationalising DSAR o Experience of ETL processes and governance o Appropriate use of data cleansing techniques and tools

• Data literate, understanding how data can be structured and manipulated to enhance the customer proposition
• Demonstrates self-development in this area.
• Professional experience in troubleshooting, operating or developing data-driven applications connected to relational databases, XML sources, web services, flat file, and data driven backend systems
• Experience operating within data mgmt.
