Job Title: Field Sales Manager

Location: Nottingham

Hours: Full-time, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Salary: £30k per annum + £15k Commission & company car, dependent on experience.

Role Overview: As a Sales Executive, you will play a pivotal role in generating new business opportunities and expanding our customer base. This position primarily involves making outbound calls to our existing customer list to promote our solutions, as well as handling occasional inbound leads. The successful candidate will be responsible for booking meetings with operators to present our solutions and sell our advanced CCTV and telematics kits. We are aiming for this role to transition for the successful candidate into being partly field-based to arrange meetings to see operators in person at their depots, dependent on results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct outbound telesales calls to existing and potential clients to promote solutions.
  • Manage and respond to inbound sales enquiries, converting them into sales opportunities.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with transportation operators to present technology and products.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements, providing tailored solutions that meet their operational challenges.
  • Maintain and update customer information in the CRM database.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Attend trade shows to assist BDM when appropriate.
  • Meet operators at their depots to demonstrate our products.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Experience from the automotive industry would be great, specifically with CCTV and telematics systems, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to confidently discuss technical products over the phone.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with the ability to work independently.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of the bus and coach industry is a big plus.
